I've been working on a single player mod that changes gameplay a bit. Basically you start each map with a single pistol, and as you go along you can buy new weapons or pick up tango guns off the ground. You make money by killing terrorists for bounty, or by selling weapons that you have.
This is a non-overwriting mod; you go into Options to enable it or disable it. I've been playing the campaign with this mod on, it's a lot of fun so far and a unique challenge.

Turning the mod on:

Picking up a deagle and dropping my old gun:
The purchase menu (in the escape menu), as you can see the mod also adds a few new guns:

If there's enough interest I'll complete this mod with some more features, maybe some new maps with NPC characters, and release it. So far it's very fun to play with. _________________

Hello Twilight,
that's a beautiful option. When it's done, I will deffinitely install it on my computer.I always play as Single Player, so this will be a wonderful mod to go through my favourite maps -more than 100- again in the different way.
I would like to express my sincere interest for this mod as well. Do you think you could make it so you can play coop with this mod as well? It would be fun to compete with a friend in who can make the most cash and such. Would make fraging away all the more interesting!

True. that would be definetly twice as fun as singleplayer
I have a problem picking up guns of dead terrorists. I can not find the Code: Pick Up in the Option: Controlls - it was not there originally so I can not assign any button for this. Can you tell me how to do it?
I don't have crosshair for a long time, since I've installed the Final Realism Mod 2. Perhaps this is the problem?
Can it be done by the"Action" (Space) button, or maybe the right-click on mouse?

Thanks a lot, it is a great mod after all,
Laszlo
You just need to bind the command to a key. For example, if the key you want is K, type this into the console:

Hi Twilight,
thanks for the mod. You made a very nice, challenging new game-play add-on to our favourite tactical FPS game.
I play Lone Wolf often - it's a great challenge and realisticly I have just one life instead of 8.
As I assigned key P to PickUp, written in Console, the difference came to life. Now I change various guns -what I normaly can't do- since now they are available in game. I wish if all of them and/or more new types would be available in this menu (how about a Star Wars laser gun? (I'm just getting nutts))! Well, I just have to Stance Down to be able to pick them up, like in real life would be.
What do you think if we might rearrange the order in the drop down menu and put: "Sell Primary Weapon - Sell Secondary Weapon" to the first two slots, on the top of the list? I think this order would be much more user-friendly.
I also appreciate that I can regain my health after got injured - that's an awesome invention, Buddy!
I also happy to see that terrorist AI are more logical when running out of ammo. Up to this time I just waited 'till they shot out all what they got, then stance up and shot to the head. This predictable tactics is over! Now they run away to reload, which is much more human-like reaction, add more realism to game-play.
